Catching up (pt 2)…Foot Surgery, selling the Beyond & New Van Build
So now that I made my decision, I had to empty the Beyond and get it ready to sell before I had my surgery since it would be a while before I was mobile. I discovered that the Beyond can hold a lot more stuff than I realized!!
My surgery was on October 9th(2024). The hardest part was knowing I couldn’t go anywhere because:
Home after surgery
Left foot was in a cast.
Can’t drive the Beyond because it’s all prepped to sell.
My Noovo was under construction!
Definitely had an incentive to get back on my feet as soon as possible!
I listed the Beyond on FB Marketplace and after a few weeks I finally had a serious buyer, who it turned out was the type of person I wanted the Beyond to go to, a solo traveler who was interested in the modification I had made by removing the couch. She is a full time traveler and we keep in touch and have plans to travel together in the future. I really didn’t want to trade my van to a dealer, it was special to me and I wanted to know that it went to a good home!
